01. Manifesto

A scientific society where care, research, and human connection meet.

Since 2017, STPO has brought together health institutions, NGOs, and scientific networks across Africa and the Mediterranean around Francophone psycho-oncology.

Our conviction

Cancer is not treated only in the hospital. It is lived through in families, in the words people find, in the gaze they receive, and in the silences they share. STPO defends the idea that listening, images, and bonds are forms of care in their own right, alongside clinical protocols.

Supporting you and walking beside you at every stage of the care journey is at the heart of our commitment in psycho-oncology.

The Tunisian Society of Psycho-Oncology works for comprehensive, humane, and multidisciplinary cancer care.

Giving people a voice and learning to hear it is already a way to begin caring.
